Newbles started in 1946 by Maurice & Mary Ann Newbles selling draperies and wool in the former derelict pub in Sunderland.
When son Clive came into the business they continued to expand over the North East.
Now with the third generation, Alison has taken over the reins and once again is expanding the business with the opening of her second store in Sunderland, in the original builnding where Newbles started.
Newbles is a family business providing friendly and professional service at all times.
